Kaptain Carbon A Good Mage is the former, but maybe both, with a release that is intoxicating with its lofi esoteric immersion. Through this 25 minute release, the listener is treated to a soundscape which is as abstract as it is nostalgic. Combine this with a strong visual design and one has a release that echoes even into the new year.
Favorite track: The Old Ways Once More.

Mint Dream I didn't even make it through the full album before I knew I had to buy it right away. This is the autumn soundscape I was looking for. Favorite track: The Trees Watch Us Hard at Work.

My favorite out of the three I believe.The sound is more aggressive and fits the cover art of what looks like a perilous journey for the protagonist. Fits well at being the second in the trilogy of albums. Every song is good and the cassette tape and package is of good quality. A Great buy that deserves a vinyl edition. Joshua Laleina
